Lindsey & Jared 5.4.13 Hilton

Millar Reception 5.4.13 025

Lindsey and Jared’s reception was held in the Illini Ballroom at the Hilton Garden Inn with around 250 guests. Their colors were navy, silver, charcoal, black, and they had subtle hints of green. Their custom monogram on the wall replicated their invitation design and displayed their first names with their last initial.

Their tables were gorgeous! We provided silver chiavari chairs, navy pintuck tablecloths for all of the guest tables, and silver charger plates. The black napkins provided by the Hilton tied in the black chair pads, and then they had menu cards displayed inside the napkin fold. 32 amber uplights were carried throughout the room.

For the head table, we provided charcoal grey satin linen, and tons of candlelight lined the tables for a romantic feel. They also had a black backdrop.

Their 4-tiered cake was spotlighted on the dance floor, and was displayed on charcoal satin linen.  The cake was very detailed with a chevron pattern and grey satin ribbon. The same flowers used in their centerpieces were used on their cake. Their custom cake topper read “Mr. & Mrs. Purcell.”

Later the cake was removed from the dance floor and the spotlight was used for the special dances. The groom chose the first dance song for the bride. It was so sweet! They danced to “Crazy Love” by Aaron Neville. This was such a fun wedding with so many neat features. The groom is a cop so he requested that we play a cops song for the garter toss and flash the red and blue dance floor lights. Their save the date was a collage of mugshots holding signs that said “Save The Date.” Guests had a blast in the photo booth, too! We wish Lindsey and Jared the very best!
