Lacey & Andrew 9.22.12 Hilton Garden Inn

Wow! This charcoal and plum color scheme was gorgeous! It looked so rich and elegant. Their reception was held in the Chief Ballroom at the Hilton for about 120 guests. They used both rectangular and round tables which was a very unique idea. To make the rectangular tables, they combined 2 banquet tables. All of their banquet tables were done in plum satin tablecloths with charcoal satin runners, except the wedding party tables which were silver satin to stand out from the rest (see below).

Lacey and Andrew didn’t have a head table. Instead they had a table for the bridesmaids and their dates and another table for the groomsmen and their dates. The bride and groom sat at a sweetheart table in between the wedding party tables. You’ll also notice that there is no centerpiece on the silver wedding party tables. There were vases pre-set on the two wedding party tables for the bridesmaids to put their bouquets in. What a great way to utilize them throughout the reception, as well!

For the round tables, we provided charcoal satin linens. It’s hard to tell since all of the lights are on in the picture, but many of the round tables had different size crystal vases as centerpieces. All the candlelight was very romantic. We also love the black chiavaris with the plum and charcoal! Very sharp!

Lacey and Andrew had three-tiered cake. The ribbon on the cake was the same ribbon that was used around the bridesmaids bouquets. The flowers brought out all of the colors in the wedding, and a silver “H” for Mr. and Mrs. Holmer served as their cake topper. It couldn’t have been more perfect, thanks to Lori Martin with Cakes by Lori! You can also see how perfect the uplighting went with the overall color scheme of the room. It all came together so nicely, and they had a lot of unique touches! Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Holmer. We wish you the best!
