Andrea & Brian 12.4.10 I Hotel

Andrea and Brian had their wedding reception at the I Hotel. Their reception took place in the Illinois ballroom. They had about 225 guests. For their December wedding, they chose warm colors.  They had black stretch chair covers with eggplant satin sashes and eggplant satin floor-length tablecloths.  The centerpieces reflected one of the latest trends in weddings, manzanita branches with ivory flowers at the base. Amber uplighting created a soft ambiance around the entire room, making for an elegant winter reception.

They had a beautiful custom monogram which was featured  in the middle of the wall so that all their guests could see it when they walked in the room. The couple sat at a sweetheart table which was located directly underneath their monogram. Cocktail tables were placed around the dance floor for guests to mingle around and socialize, while also providing a prime spot for guests to see while the couple cut their cake and shared their first dance. Andrea and Brian danced to “It Had to Be You”  by Harry Connick Jr. for their first dance.

These pictures show you their gorgeous cake.  The cake was displayed in the middle of the dance floor on an eggplant satin tablecloth which we spotlighted. The ivory cake really stood out on the colored tablecloth. After the traditional cake cutting cermony, the spotlight later featured the bride and groom’s special dances. Illini Photo Booth setup for guests to take pictures together. On each of the guest’s pictures was “Andrea and Brian – 12.4.10,” making for an everlasting memory to take home with them. We absolutely loved working with Andrea and Brian, and we wish them the best of luck in their new marriage!
