Danielle & Monte 11.20.10 Refinery

Danielle and Monte had their November wedding reception at the Refinery in Champaign. They had about 235 guests, and they used the entire ballroom to ensure that everyone had plenty of space to walk between the tables. The dance floor was also very large. Their colors were brown, ivory, and burnt orange. So they used ivory polyester chair covers with burnt orange satin sashes and ivory floor-length tablecloths with burnt orange satin runners. They wanted a fall-themed wedding, so the leaf gobo displayed on the tan backdrop behind the head table was perfect.

The burnt orange uplighting really complimented the room, and we did the leaf gobo in burnt orange as well. Our DJ equipment was setup to the left of the head table. We also put together a photo montage with pictures of them growing up that they showed on the Refinery’s video screens that come down from the ceiling. It was a big hit with their guests.

Danielle and Monte’s elegant fall-themed cake was displayed and spotlighted in the middle of the room. Matt was their DJ, and he said that it was a great party! They shared their first dance to the song “Red On a Rose” by Alan Jackson. We hope they enjoyed their honeymoon in Napa Valley, CA!
